Pohnpei is the largest island in the Federated States of Micronesia. It boasts a towering, rugged interior and is of volcanic origin. Its main features of topography are the outer barrier reef, the intertidal lagoon, the fringe reef and mangrove forest, the lowland area on the outer edges of the island, and the central mountain rain forests.

Blessed with crystal clear waters ranging from a comfortable year-round 82-84 Fahrenheit (28-29 degrees Celsius).

There are many super dive sites with a short ride, such as Palikir Pass
with an ever-present school of up to 100 Gray Reef Sharks. Or Rainbow Island with it's steep drop-offs and sloping walls, and adorned with hard and soft corals and a variety of sponges.
