You can
dive Rarotonga with a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre. Our shop is conveniently
located on the stunning marine reserve of Aroa beach which is one
of the best spots on the island to go for snorkelling or even for
diving. (perfect place for a beginner dive because it is really shallow)
We offer
guided dives for all levels, from wrecks to passages, drop off's,
night dives and much more.
Our
friendly multilingual staff can cater for total beginners to the highly
experienced in the crystal clear warm water of the south pacific.
The opening
hours are: 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm. The Dive Centre provides
daily introduction lagoon and boat dives, with light refreshments
served after every treasured water experience. Also available are
group discounts, dive packages that will also include accommodation
if needed, complimentary pick up/drop off from your resort, also a
variety of courses from open water to speciality.
On site,
you'll find our well stocked dive shop will cater to all your scuba

Diving
The diving
here in the Cook Islands is easy diving. Our trips have short boat
rides from 2 min up to max. 20 min which is very convenient because
you don't have travel for hours to your dive site.
The visibility
range is usual 20-30m - depending on weather conditions. We anchor/moor
our boat in 12 m and do multilevel
dives (and we have always an boat captain staying on the boat while
you do your dive! not standard here on the island). No unnecessary
restricted dive times for your convenience and we try to get divers
with the same dive experience together on a trip.
Unfortunately
we can't tell you in advance which side of the island we will dive
because it's always weather dependent and we choose the best dive
site direct before the dive. Our shop dives all around the island
(3 launch sites), we have wrecks (but well broken up), caves, passages
(south), drop offs...etc...
What
you might see: some reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays, barracudas etc.
What we don't have is a big variety of soft corals (some small sponges,
ghost corals, anemones) because we have a drop off up to 4500meters
but therefore a big range of beautiful hard coral formations.
