only 300 yards from shore, you're at the dive sites in minutes,
and the farthest site is only 15 minutes away.
In
Grand Turk you have a good chance of an encounter with many
exciting creatures. Giant Manta Rays are frequently seen
along the wall during the summer and Humpback whales in
the winter. Spotted Eagle Rays cruise the wall and friendly
Nassau Groupers are usually there to greet you on every
dive. The water is filled with turtles, stingrays, schools
of horse-eyed jack, puffers, trumpet fish, snappers and
much more. Colorful tube sponges, plate coral and soft coral
cover of the wall.
 Nitrox
Whether you're already certified in Nitrox diving or
curious about trying it, Oasis Divers has everything you
need to get started diving the walls of Grand Turk with
Enriched Air Nitrox.
Oasis
Divers offers mixes of 32% and 36% so you can enjoy your
diving longer. For those who wish to learn more about Nitrox
Diving, we offer the PADI Enriched Air Diver specialty to
qualify you to dive with Nitrox. You don't have to be a
PADI diver to take the course, just an advanced diver.
Gibb's
Cay Snorkel Trips
 The
perfect afternoon event for the whole family!
There
are many great places to snorkel around Grand Turk, but
Oasis Divers does something a little different. We have
a snorkel and picnic trip to an uninhabited island called
Gibbs Cay located about a mile from Grand Turk. On the way
to the island, we stop and free dive for conch. On the island
we make a fresh conch salad while the burgers are cooking
for our island picnic.
There
is amazing snorkeling all around the beautiful white sandy
beach, but the real treat is the friendly stingrays that
come to greet you right in the shallow water off the beach.
You can pet them, and feed them and of course go home with
lots of fun pictures. It’s a great afternoon activity
for people of all ages after a busy morning.
Whale
Watching
 Oasis
Divers is the leader in whale watching excursions in the
entire Turks and Caicos. North Atlantic Humpback whales
are seen around the Grand Turk and Salt Cay area in late
January, February, March and early April. These majestic
creatures pass through our area as part of their annual
migration for mating and birth. Oasis Divers whale watching
is lead by Captain Everette Freites, a local expert on the
North Atlantic Humpback Whale. After years of experience
leading whale watching excursions and studying their behavior,
he's considered the best in the area.
We
offer whale watching trips in the afternoons during the
whale seasons. Not only can you experience the whales up
close, but you'll also learn a lot of interesting facts
from Captain Everette during the whale watching trips. An
encounter with a humpback whale is something you'll never
forget. And the combination of a morning of great diving
and an afternoon of whale watching is sure to make any vacation
perfect.
