fishing village Bayahibe is the best starting
point for diving in the Dominican Republic
and is also where you will find our dive center
SCUBAFUN. In front of this small village begins
the very beautiful and protected park called
Parque Nacional del Este. Among its delicate
ecosystems are sea-grass beds, mangrove forests,
rocky coasts, sandy beaches, subtropical forests,
and much more, including the most important
feature to us, the incredible coral reefs.
Within these rich, colorful reefs, a myriad
of sea life awaits you. Lobster, eagle rays,
manatees, whales, sharks, dolphins, turtles
and much more!
We are a PADI dive shop with top of the line
gear for our customers to rent. We clean and
store all our customers gear if desired. Our
staff is very helpful and are ready to get
our customers in the water safely! We provide
Nitrox and can certify any divers wanting
to acquire that capability along with any
other certifications they might want (Open
Water to Dive Master). We have 4 custom built
dive boats and two of these are 42 and 45
foot catamarans that make the ride very comfortable!
